Job summary

Sopra Steria's Aerospace, Defence and Security business seeks an Infrastructure Tester to join a dedicated, high-performing team delivering secure, scalable solutions in the Defence and Security sector.

Based onsite in Gloucestershire with flexible hours, you will validate performance, reliability and security across complex environments, and contribute to project delivery through independent test management and continuous improvement of testing approaches.

Qualifications

• Experience in Infrastructure Test roles such as Infrastructure Test Support or Infrastructure Test Engineer.
• Strong technical background in Windows Client/Server OS across physical and virtual envs.
• Experience of end-to-end integration testing.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification, up to Advanced Technical Test Analyst or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Validating and verifying infrastructure components, systems and networks to ensure performance, reliability and security requirements are met.
• Carrying out functional and non-functional testing across physical and virtual infrastructure.
• Performing end-to-end integration testing.
• Analysing test results and producing clear and accurate documentation.
• Managing test activities independently and contributing to project delivery.
• Supporting the continuous improvement of test approaches, tooling, and frameworks.
