Job summary

Astec Europe Omagh is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join a skilled team in Omagh, Northern Ireland. You will support Telestack products and the new mobile tracked crushers & screeners, traveling to customer sites for hands-on experiences and training, while collaborating with global teams to resolve technical issues.

The role offers opportunities to mentor junior staff, develop technical solutions, and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience working with mobile plant (quarry, mining, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide product support to dealers and customers worldwide.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues remotely.
• Utilize Case Management System to document support activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve technical issues.
• Engage with the NPI team to enhance product reliability.
• Support Quality Improvement Team initiatives to identify root causes.
