Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Principal Technical Success Consultant to ensure customer success by delivering outcome-based services. You will guide customers in using the PI System, lead strategic discussions, and collaborate with success managers to maximize value and drive new business.

You will work across executive and staff levels, participate in training, and mentor colleagues while delivering high-quality results in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or another technical field.
• 5+ years of experience with real-time operational data systems in industrial manufacturing or operating environments.
• Hands-on PI System experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems and share best practices.
• Ability to set priorities and manage multiple activities.
• Experience working with C-level executives is a plus.
• Background in architectures and enterprise-wide design methodologies is a plus.
• Willing and able to travel, up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops and coaching sessions to guide customers in using the PI System to realize use cases.
• Act as a technical liaison to assigned customer accounts to maximize value and drive new business.
• Lead strategic conversations to guide use case discovery and position AVEVA products and infrastructure.
• Lead discussions on how the PI System adds business value across organizational levels.
• Participate in internal and external training to stay current with technologies and markets.
• Demonstrate initiative to deliver high-quality results for internal and external customers.
• Influence and drive adoption of the PI Infrastructure via demonstrations and Value Proof.
• Assist with risk-benefit analysis of deployment options for customers.
• Engage Enterprise Customers to promote enterprise-wide adoption of the PI Infrastructure.
• Mentor team members on industry, product, and technology topics.
