Job summary

Vantage Consulting seeks an experienced Lead AVEVA PI Engineer to lead design and delivery of AVEVA PI solutions across a growing portfolio. This role blends hands-on engineering with project leadership, consultancy and commercial input.

Based in Coventry or Warrington with hybrid working, you will guide technical design, mentor engineers, and drive opportunities across accounts while progressing toward Technical Authority in AVEVA capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on AVEVA PI expertise with ownership of projects.
• Experience designing PI solutions from scratch and architecture.
• Knowledge of AVEVA licensing, AVEVA Flex, and system platform/OMI.
• Proven leadership of engineering projects and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead AVEVA PI project design and delivery.
• Develop PI solutions from architecture to implementation.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple projects.
• Create system designs and project documentation.
• Support tenders and proposals.
• Mentor engineers and develop capability.
• Identify opportunities within accounts.
• Progress toward Technical Authority.
