Job summary

CBSbutler Ltd. seeks a Technical Delivery Manager to lead delivery of mission-critical systems in the UK's Defence AI initiatives.

You will drive agile delivery across multiple engineering streams, align architecture with product goals, and collaborate with stakeholders to keep programs on schedule and secure. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with governance, ensuring compliance with defence security standards while delivering at pace from a central London hub (4 days on-site, 1

Qualifications

• Active DV security clearance (Sole UK National)
• Proven delivery track record in complex/defence environments
• Strong Agile background (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) applied to software projects
• Technical literacy in cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/K8s/Python/React)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead agile delivery across multiple engineering workstreams and sprint ceremonies
• Partner with senior developers and architects to translate requirements into roadmaps and epics
• Act as the primary bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders with clear progress reporting
• Proactively identify and remove blockers to maintain velocity
• Ensure delivery aligns with defence security standards and compliance
