Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services seeks a Head of Technical to lead the technical agenda across the national Thales account. You will be the senior technical authority, shaping asset management, risk, compliance and lifecycle investment across a complex UK estate.

Working with operational leaders and customer stakeholders, you will influence decisions, drive recovery plans, and turn strategy into practical action while travelling across the UK as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering or building services background with a relevant qualification.
• Strong credibility and leadership to operate at senior level.
• Experience in facilities management or complex regulated estates is valued.
• Ability to influence across a matrix organization and travel regularly in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior technical authority for the account and set the technical strategy.
• Maintain oversight of critical assets, compliance, lifecycle and risk.
• Lead technical recovery plans and drive governance with suppliers and teams.
• Translate technical strategy into actionable improvements with operational leaders.
• Provide credible risk/priority investment advice to senior stakeholders.
