Job summary

Thales in the United Kingdom is seeking a Project Design Authority to lead solution compliance on bids and projects. You will act as the primary technical interface with customers and guide the bid team through architecture, requirements, and verification steps.

You will review risks, ensure alignment with policies and safety standards, approve specifications and final integration results, and coordinate engineering reviews across specialists to deliver compliant, timely, and cost-effective

Qualifications

• Role ensures solution compliance with customer needs, product policy and MTB strategy.
• Acts as primary technical interface with the customer for bids or projects.
• Leads reviews and approves key technical deliverables throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Analyses customer needs and assesses solution architecture and technical choices.
• Reviews technical risks and mitigation plans throughout the bid or project.
• Approves the technical specification and source selection of subsystems/products.
• Checks engineering environment consistency with E2 instructions and cost.
• Leads main bid/project engineering reviews and approves major deliverables.
• Organises technical meetings and peer reviews with SEM and other experts.
• Interfacing with the client to define the solution and ensure timely delivery.
