Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a confident Technical Account Manager for a leading fresh produce business in the UK. You will own a key supermarket account, build strong relationships and ensure technical, quality and food safety standards across the supply chain.

You’ll lead meetings, manage specifications and KPIs, support NPD and product approvals, and drive quality improvements while assisting audits across suppliers, growers and partners. Organic knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical roles within fresh produce.
• Experience working with supermarkets and customers.
• Knowledge of BRCGS and audits.
• HACCP and Food Safety Level 3 certification or equivalent.
• Familiar with customer portals and product specifications.
• Experience auditing suppliers and growers.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, commercial and can-do attitude.
• Organic produce knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own a key supermarket account and manage relationships.
• Lead customer meetings, reviews, and technical plans.
• Manage specifications, portals, complaints and KPIs.
• Support NPD, artwork and product approvals.
• Drive quality improvements and reduce complaints.
• Support BRCGS, supplier, grower, and ethical audits.
• Manage organic certification and customer audits.
• Collaborate with suppliers, growers and international partners.
• Support pesticide, microbiological and food safety requirements.
