Job summary

GBST in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced technology and consulting leader to head the UK-based Technical Solutions team and partner with leading wealth management organisations across the EMEA region.

This role sits at the intersection of client consulting, solution architecture, and delivery leadership. You will drive strategic discovery engagements, advise on leveraging GBST's cloud-enabled SaaS platforms, and shape scalable outcomes that align with long-term business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in client-facing consulting, solution design, or technical advisory in Wealth Management, Financial Services, FinTech, or SaaS.
• Experience partnering with senior business and technology stakeholders to shape transformation programs and technology strategies.
• Strong discovery and requirements gathering, translating complex business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Track record leading technical consulting, pre-sales, professional services, or solution architecture teams.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based SaaS solutions.
• Knowledge of modern software engineering and cloud technologies, ideally AWS.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, confident with executive audiences.
• Commercial awareness balancing client outcomes, delivery objectives, and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and strategic consulting engagements across EMEA.
• Advise clients through business and technology transformation.
• Facilitate workshops to define requirements, resolve challenges, and agree future-state solutions.
• Translate business objectives into scalable solution designs using GBST SaaS platforms and APIs.
• Guide implementation strategies, integrations, and technical decisions.
• Lead and develop Technical Managers and Senior Technical Consultants, building a high-performing, client-focused culture.
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Delivery to move from design to execution.
• Manage utilisation, forecasting, delivery priorities, and regional stakeholder relationships.
• Set consulting best practices to ensure consistent quality and exceptional client outcomes.
