Job summary

Altus Group is seeking a Technology Lead to drive design and delivery of AWS-native platforms in a remote UK setting. The role blends hands-on coding with technical leadership across product, engineering and architecture teams.

You will own mission-critical services end-to-end, mentor engineers, and push for secure, scalable solutions while shaping the technical roadmap with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or senior engineer owning complex systems in production.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience and cloud-native architecture expertise.
• Proficiency in modern languages (Python/Java/Node.js) and understanding of API design.

Responsibilities

• Own system design for complex, high-impact initiatives from analysis through implementation.
• Take end-to-end ownership of mission-critical services with reliability and scalability.
• Lead code reviews, design docs, and retrospectives to raise engineering standards.
