Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an experienced Tech Lead for its Digital Data & Cloud Practice in the UK. You will design and build cloud-based software, lead a team to deliver scalable, secure solutions, and drive architecture decisions across public and private sector projects.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with PMs, BAs, and Product teams, and promote best practices in CI/CD, testing and DevOps. A flexible/remote working model is available.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of coding best practices and modern architectural patterns.
• Hands-on coding with Angular and .NET/C# in cloud native apps.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift and CI/CD tooling.
• Azure-focused design with serverless and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based software applications.
• Provide technical leadership to coordinate scalable, secure solutions.
• Work within an Agile project delivery methodology.
• Ownership for product design, estimation, shaping and requirements.
• Document architecture, configurations, releases and handover.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across PMs, BAs, Testing and Product teams.
• Explain technical designs clearly to varied audiences.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and foster collaboration.
