The Senior Technical Delivery Manager will have overall accountability for the delivery of a key content analytics service for RAPP.

You will be responsible for the delivery and implementation of the content analytics services roadmap, including creating a structured environment for scheduling, tracking, and managing software, data engineering, and data science projects.

The role focuses on defining and optimizing the operating model for the content analytics service, continuously improving technical procedures, resourcing, and practices to ensure timely, quality delivery within budget and scope.

Your primary role will be supervising the delivery of the roadmap, supporting product management, engineering, data science, and project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specifications. This includes technical expertise in engineering and analytical projects, scoping, estimation, requirements gathering, and technical documentation.

You will manage engineers, data scientists, and project managers, assessing workloads and onboarding additional team members as needed.

It is important to note that this role is both managerial and technical. The Technical Delivery Manager must have solid technical and operational experience to support decision-making, assertiveness in onboarding team members, and a focus on delivering projects "on time and pain-free".

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Governance & Commercials

• Attend and prepare for steering committees with stakeholders
• Support forecasting and resource planning for internal and client workstreams
• Identify prioritization needs and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders
• Monitor delivery progress, effort, and costs to identify risks early
• Oversee infrastructure costs and ensure budget adherence
• Evaluate and improve delivery and deployment processes

Delivery

• Gather and document requirements from stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineering and data science leads to turn requirements into solutions
• Break down solutions into manageable backlog items
• Refine and prioritize features and tasks
• Address technical debt and preventive maintenance
• Maintain a detailed backlog with dependencies and sequencing
• Manage development, implementation, and deployment within scope, time, and budget
• Assign tasks based on team skills and capacity
• Communicate progress and risks to clients and stakeholders
• Adopt and own Agile and Lean methodologies
• Ensure quality of delivered solutions
• Design deployment processes to minimize downtime
• Plan releases effectively
• Support and mentor the technical project management team

Standardisation

• Create and optimize operational processes for delivery, quality, and deployment
• Develop a standardized operating model for content analytics services

Requirements:

• 10+ years in technology, with 5+ years in Marketing Technology
• Experience in design, solutions architecture, and data science methodologies
• Experience with strategic analytics projects and complex datasets
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
• Experience working with offshore teams
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Atlassian, MS Project)
• Experience with marketing data solutions and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Client-facing skills and problem-solving ability
• Ability to lead technical sessions with clients
• Solution-oriented, collaborative, excellent interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines across multiple workstreams
• Self-driven with leadership qualities, ideally with Agile Scrum certification
