Job summary

Brighton and Hove City Council is hiring a Senior Technical Delivery Officer to support critical Revenues, Benefits and Welfare systems across the city. This hands-on role combines technical delivery, system upgrades, data analysis and improvements to ensure secure, reliable services for residents.

You'll work with ICT, service teams and suppliers, developing documentation and contributing to digital transformation while meeting governance and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with Revenues, Benefits or Welfare systems advantageous.
• Public sector or local government experience preferred.
• Experience with data management, interfaces and system integration.
• Familiarity with SQL and reporting tools is required.
• Knowledge of digital transformation and service improvement programmes.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support multi-user Revenues, Benefits and Welfare systems.
• Lead incidents, upgrades and changes with suppliers.
• Analyse data for BI, reporting and statutory reporting.
• Champion information governance and data protection.
• Contribute to digital transformation and service improvement projects.
• Provide technical guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
