Job summary

Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council are seeking a Senior Housing Technical Support Officer to support the Housing Service from Woodrow Neighbourhood Office. The post is full-time and involves managing IT-enabled housing services and financial processes.

You will lead the Housing Technical Support Team, develop IT systems and work on projects introducing new technology and improved business processes across the Housing Service.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years experience working with a Housing based IT application.
• A Level Maths, English and ICT.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day activities of the Housing Technical Support Team.
• Ensure the smooth delivery of all financial processes within the Housing Service including the annual rent review, BACS processing, Benefit entitlements, investigating lost payments and ensuring they are reconciled.
• Provide effective business support for colleagues across the service, working in partnership to understand their needs and deliver support and solutions that help to deliver on shared business objectives.
• Involvement in projects which will implement new technology, new business process and change the way people work across the whole Housing Service.
• Develop and improve the Housing IT systems.
