Job summary

Sanctuary Care’s Lammas House Residential Care Home in Coventry is recruiting a Senior Care Team Leader. The role is a 40-hour week, temporary for 6 months, offering £16.84 per hour. You will lead a team to deliver personalised care, manage rotas, and safeguard residents’ wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in care (NVQ3/SVQ3 in Social Care or equivalent is desirable).
• Ability to communicate clearly and work flexibly.
• Experience with pre-admission assessments and managing people and rotas.

Your role

• Support the wellbeing of residents and help them feel at home
• Work together as a team to enrich residents’ lives and support colleagues
• Deliver personalised care in line with individual care plans
• Make leisure and social activities part of every day
• Guide and encourage Care Assistants in their development
• Manage the homes rotas appropriately to ensure the home is operating efficiently, as well as being responsible for the safe administration of medication.
• Experience in care (NVQ3/SVQ3 in Social Care or equivalent is desirable)
• Ability to communicate clearly and work flexibly
• Have experience of dealing with pre admission assessments and proven experience of managing people and rota management
• Team player who values collaboration
• Kindness and genuine interest in older people
