Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust at Outwood Academy Hindley seeks an Advanced Teaching Assistant to support learning across platforms. You will deliver targeted interventions, work with individuals and small groups, and track progress using ICT systems.

The role involves supporting SEN and EAL pupils, providing short-term cover, and contributing to development plans. 30 hours per week, term-time plus one week, with CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification relating to children and young people.
• Experience in a school setting or with children/young people.
• Experience supporting students in small groups or one-to-one situations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned learning activities and intervention programmes to small groups or individuals.
• Assess, monitor and record student development using ICT systems.
• Support SEN students and EAL learners; provide short-term class cover.
• Manage resources and invigilate exams.
