Job summary

Outwood Academy Ormesby, part of Outwood Grange Academies Trust in Middlesbrough, is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Temporary). You will work with teachers to deliver tailored learning activities and provide academic and welfare support to individuals and small groups.

The role covers classroom support, intervention management including SEND and EAL, and help to develop individualized student support plans. 32.5 hours per week, 8:15am–3:15pm, term time only + 5 days.

Qualifications

• Assisting pupils to access learning.
• Support for classroom activities and routines.
• Support for intervention work including SEND and EAL.

Responsibilities

• Work with teachers to implement learning activities.
• Provide academic and welfare support to individuals and small groups.
• Contribute to developing individualized student support plans.
