Job summary

Lanes Group is recruiting a Senior Planner at our Durrington Head Office to work with the team of HGV Tanker Drivers across the Southern Water contract. You will ensure efficient planning, act as main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, and help maintain service levels across the region.

Responsibilities

• Update the job details in Big Change / Ortec based on new information or feedback.
• Close jobs on Big Change if not carried out by drivers.
• Escalate unresolved backlogs to relevant managers.
• Ensure all planning, job, and locations spreadsheets current and accurate.
• Maintain shared inboxes with timely responses and organised records.
• Capture and log all customer and contractor communications.
• Track Tankering departure timings via samsara.
• Monitor and respond to reactive work requests and escalations.
• Maintain live operative locations spreadsheets for accurate deployment.
• Coordinate with drivers to confirm dispatch times, routes and availabilities.
• Review and assign client requests promptly via Big change / Ortec.
• Capture and log changes to job details, site notes and client feedback.
• Update compliance reports and speak to relevant management for any failings.
• Record downtime, delays and reasons for missed SLAs
• Any ad-hoc from lead planner
