Job summary

Schenk UK Ltd. is seeking a Transport Planner to coordinate LGV tanker movements on the ICL contract from our Stockton depot. You will work with drivers, the customer and the planning team to keep schedules accurate and service levels high.

The role requires strong planning, organisational, and communication skills with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction. Flexible hours may apply as operations demand.

Qualifications

• Ideally experience in transport planning within LGV, logistics or tanker environments.
• Strong planning, organisational and customer service skills in a fast-paced operation.
• Experience communicating with drivers and customers to maintain service levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the efficient movement of LGV tanker vehicles and deliveries across the country.
• Ensure drivers understand the daily transport plan and monitor progress.
• Maintain high levels of service while adapting to changing plans and priorities.
• Collaborate with customers, drivers and planning team to resolve issues quickly.
