Job summary

SYSTRA Ltd in the UK is seeking an experienced Systems Safety Engineer to work on a range of engineering, transportation and infrastructure design projects around Manchester.

You will prepare outline and detailed designs, follow procedures, report progress to senior engineers, and apply safety systems throughout the design lifecycle while developing personally and professionally within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant to own discipline.
• Understanding of CSM Regulations and its application during construction.
• Awareness of construction principles and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outline and detailed design for multi or single disciplinary projects as required.
• Follow and check procedures throughout project delivery.
• Report updates to senior engineers, technical leads and the project management team on project progress.
• Apply procedures and systems to ensure the safety of staff and others affected by the operations of SYSTRA throughout design lifecycle.
• Contribute to company-wide goals and business improvement.
• Continue your own professional development with support from SYSTRA in line with your professional body.
• Any other duties as required.
