Job summary

SYSTRA Ltd (UK & Ireland) is seeking a Systems Safety Engineer to work on a range of engineering, transportation and infrastructure design projects. You will contribute to safety-critical design and ensure compliance within budgets and timescales.

Working with a small team, you will prepare designs, follow procedures, report progress to senior engineers, and support professional development while upholding SYSTRA's safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with safety engineering and rail/infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and railway interoperability is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outline and detailed design for multi-disciplinary projects.
• Follow and check procedures throughout project delivery.
• Report progress to senior engineers and project management.
• Apply safety procedures to protect staff and third parties.
• Contribute to business improvement and personal development.
• Collaborate to deliver compliant, safe designs.
