Job summary

Genuit Group is seeking an experienced Systems Operations Engineer to support, optimise and evolve our core systems, platforms and cloud services across a complex IT estate. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining high performance, minimising downtime and delivering operational excellence.

You will act as a senior technical resolver, collaborate with Service Desk, Desktop Support and project teams, and own issues through to resolution while ensuring security, resilience and thorough

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Cloud environments (M365, Azure, AD).
• Experience with cloud/SaaS platforms including security, identity, email and collaboration.
• Knowledge of on-premises infrastructure including Windows Server, VMware and storage.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support and optimisation for core systems, platforms and cloud services
• Escalate complex incidents and own resolution
• Analyse systems and propose performance improvements
• Maintain high-quality technical documentation
• Ensure systems are patched and updated per best practices
• Meet SLAs for support, requests and change delivery
• Support operational projects and deliver assigned tasks
• Ensure security by design and policy compliance
• Produce reports and audits of system management
