Job summary

Genuit Group is seeking an experienced Systems Operations Engineer to support, optimise and evolve our core systems, platforms and cloud services. This is a hands-on role focused on high performance, minimal downtime and operational excellence across a complex IT estate.

You will work closely with Service Desk, project teams and third‑party suppliers, taking ownership of issues through to resolution and contributing to system design, security and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft Cloud environments including M365, Azure and Active Directory.
• Experience with cloud and SaaS platforms covering security, identity, email and collaboration services.
• Knowledge of on-premises infrastructure including Windows Server, VMware and storage technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support and optimisation for core systems, platforms and cloud services.
• Act as escalation point for complex incidents and problems, owning issues through to resolution.
• Analyse existing systems and recommend improvements for performance and resilience.
• Author and maintain high-quality technical documentation on system designs.
• Ensure systems are patched, updated and maintained per best practice.
• Meet SLAs for support, requests and change delivery.
• Support operational projects, owning tasks and deliverables.
• Ensure systems are secure by design and compliant with policies.
• Produce reports and audits evidencing effective system management.
