Job summary

team.blue is seeking a Systems and Escalations Engineer for its UK technical team across Catalyst2, GURU Cloud and UKDedicated brands. The role focuses on escalated support, provisioning new services and mentoring teammates.

Location can be entirely remote (UK-based) or hybrid from Worcester, Reading or Hemel Hempstead offices. Training will be provided, and the role operates on a 24x7 shift pattern with paid on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hosting experience with cPanel/WHM and Linux CLI.
• Strong WordPress and CMS/Ecommerce knowledge.
• Understanding of key internet protocols and technologies.
• Process-driven and security-focused mindset.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide escalated 3rd line support primarily via email/ticketing and by phone.
• Assist 1st & 2nd line teams with technical escalations.
• Deploy new customer services and system provisioning.
• System administration, ongoing management and upgrades, liaising with vendors.
