Leonardo in Edinburgh seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to shape Through-Life Services for UK defence. You will collaborate with engineering specialists and external partners to influence early support design decisions and deliver high-value, sustainable solutions for front-line operations.

Qualifications

• Experience capturing and analysing stakeholder needs to guide service solutions.
• Experience applying MBSE approaches to develop service and product architectures.
• Experience generating Use Cases and conducting Functional Analysis to support requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage stakeholders for the Through-Life Services element and support the engagement strategy.
• Elicit, analyse and mature stakeholder needs to define optimal capability solutions.
• Contribute to concepts and architectures for the Through-Life Support solution with SMEs.
• Conduct system functional analysis, modelling and architecture refinement as required.
• Ensure application of appropriate tools for problem definition within the team.
• Support Use Case definition to inform Functional Analysis and logical architecture.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align TLS architecture with programme elements.
• Identify emerging issues, contribute to risk assessment, and shape mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate multi-stakeholder inputs and deliver reports/presentations for customers.
• Build relationships across the business and promote best practice adoption.
