Pure Storage, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join the Public Sector, Defence and Defence Industrial Base team in the UK & Ireland.

The role is remote-based with regular travel across the UK and Ireland to meet customers and partners, including on-site government and defence locations. You will lead technical discovery, craft architectures, conduct demonstrations, and mentor junior SEs while collaborating with Sales, Partners, and Product teams to win opportunities in government and

Qualifications

10+ years in pre-sales, systems engineering, or similar customer-facing technical role.
Strong storage and infrastructure fundamentals with relevant domain experience.
Ability to translate complex requirements into technical architectures and proposals.

Responsibilities

Partner with Account Executives to drive public sector and defence opportunities.
Lead and mentor a pool of SEs, providing technical direction.
Translate government/defence requirements into architectures, sizing, quotes, and concepts.
Deliver technical presentations, demos, and workshops remotely or on-site.
Enable channel partner SEs through workshops and joint engagements.
Validate technical fit across storage, virtualization, and infrastructure while considering security needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a strong buying experience.
Share domain knowledge on public sector procurement and requirements.
