Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UK seeks a Senior or Principal Systems Engineer with strong Requirements Engineering and Systems Engineering delivery experience to support the Nuclear EMEA business. You will lead the development and management of CRDs and subsystem requirements, work with stakeholders to ensure clarity and traceability, and apply MBSE and verification concepts across multiple subsystems.

Hybrid working is offered, with regular client-site presence in Derby and scope to influence processes

Qualifications

Experience leading Systems Engineering on delivery-focused projects in regulated sectors.
Ability to develop and manage requirements, interfaces and verification activities.
Familiarity with MBSE tools and requirements management tooling.

Responsibilities

Provide Systems Engineering leadership across projects and teams.
Develop, review and manage Component Requirements Documents and derived sub-system requirements.
Collaborate with Requirements Lead and engineers to ensure clear, traceable requirements.
Apply systems engineering concepts including interfaces, verification, validation and compliance.
Occasional client-site presence in Derby and ad-hoc visits to partner offices.
Support a portfolio of Nuclear EMEA projects after the initial assignment.
