Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior/Principal Systems Engineer to lead requirements and systems engineering delivery for a Derby-based project. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure clear, traceable requirements, manage CRDs, and apply MBSE practices to deliver complex sub-systems.

You will support other Nuclear EMEA projects after the initial assignment and engage with stakeholders to drive delivery excellence within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Systems Engineering in delivery-focused projects.
• Proficiency with requirements management tools and MBSE.
• Ability to serve as the sole SE focal point within a project.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across engineering and management.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in SE.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements-focused Systems Engineering activities for a Derby-based project.
• Develop, review and manage Component Requirements Documents (CRDs).
• Ensure clear, traceable requirements and aligned interfaces.
• Collaborate with requirements leads and client stakeholders.
• Apply MBSE and systems decomposition to support delivery.
• Support multiple Nuclear EMEA projects after initial assignment.
