Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for a Thornbury-based consultancy delivering complex, regulated defence, nuclear, space projects. Hybrid working: three days onsite, with commutable access from Bristol and nearby areas.

You will lead client engagements, shape system development strategies and coordinate multidisciplinary activity across lifecycle stages, while benefiting from training, accreditation support and career progression.

Qualifications

Extensive Systems Engineering experience across lifecycle stages.
Background in defence, nuclear, aerospace, space or other regulated sectors.
Ability to lead technical work independently and resolve ambiguous client requirements.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management capability.
Professional recognition (CEng/ASEP/CSEP) beneficial.
Experience with requirements-management and architecture tools like DOORS/SysML/MODAF/NAF/Rhapsody/EA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead client-facing Systems Engineering across complex, regulated programmes.
Shape concept studies, requirements, architecture and system-development strategies.
Lead modelling, analysis, integration, V&V and acceptance activities.
Own technical work packages, delivery plans and senior stakeholder relationships.
Support and mentor developing Systems Engineers and Consultants.
