Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is representing a respected independent Systems Engineering consultancy seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead technically complex client work across defence, nuclear, space and other regulated environments.

In this role you will own technical work packages, shape system strategies and mentor junior engineers, with three days a week on client sites or Thornbury/Bristol offices.

Qualifications

Extensive Systems Engineering experience across lifecycle stages.
Background in defence, nuclear, aerospace, space or another regulated sector.
Able to lead technical work independently and resolve ambiguous client requirements.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management capability.

Responsibilities

Lead client-facing Systems Engineering across complex, regulated programmes.
Shape concept studies, requirements, architecture and system-development strategies.
Lead modelling, analysis, integration, V&V and acceptance activities.
Own technical work packages, delivery plans and senior stakeholder relationships.
Support and mentor developing Systems Engineers and Consultants.
