Are you a Senior Systems Engineer or Systems Engineering Consultant looking to lead technically complex client work across defence, nuclear, space and other regulated environments?
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established independent Systems Engineering consultancy where you will lead high-value work packages, influence major programmes and become a trusted technical partner to government and industrial customers.
The business delivers projects across the complete systems-engineering lifecycle, from research and concept development through to requirements, architecture, integration, verification and acceptance. Continued growth and increasing demand have created an opportunity for an experienced consultant to strengthen its senior delivery capability.
In this role, you will independently lead client engagements, shape systems-engineering strategies and coordinate multidisciplinary technical activity. You will work with senior stakeholders to understand ambiguous problems, establish a structured approach and deliver clear, defensible engineering outcomes.
You will also receive internal and external training, support towards professional accreditation and the opportunity to develop further responsibility across technical leadership, mentoring and client delivery.
Experience with requirements-management and architecture tools such as DOORS, SysML, MODAF, NAF, Rhapsody or Enterprise Architect would be advantageous.
Hybrid working will normally involve three days each week split between the Thornbury office and client sites. Requirements will vary by assignment, with some projects needing greater client-site attendance during their early stages. Travel is paid, and relocation support is available for suitable candidates.
Applicants must hold a driving licence and be willing to travel. Due to the security requirements of the available programmes, applicants must be sole UK nationals and eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance. Existing SC or DV clearance would be advantageous.
