50,000 - 60,000 + Bonus + Hybrid Working + Chartership and INCOSE Support + Training + Progression
Are you a Systems Engineer from a defence, nuclear, aerospace or similarly regulated environment looking to broaden your project experience and develop within a client-facing consultancy?
This is an excellent opportunity to join an independent Systems Engineering consultancy delivering complex programmes for major government and industrial clients. You will receive internal and external training, support towards professional accreditation and a personal development plan built around your long-term ambitions.
The business operates across defence, civil nuclear, space and utilities, supporting projects from early research and concept development through to requirements, architecture, integration, verification and final acceptance.
In this role, you will work directly with clients to understand complex problems, shape systems-engineering activities and deliver technical outputs. Projects may include concept studies, requirements development, system architecture, modelling, safety, integration and V&V, depending on your existing strengths.
This position would suit an adaptable Systems Engineer who is comfortable with ambiguity, communicates confidently with different stakeholders and wants to develop into a trusted engineering consultant.
Hybrid working, normally involving three days per week split between the Thornbury office and client sites. Individual assignments may require additional client-site attendance, particularly during their early stages. Applicants must hold a driving licence and be willing to travel when required.
Due to the security requirements of the available programmes, applicants must be sole UK nationals and eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance. Existing SC clearance would be advantageous.
