OMNIA Training is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to drive the design, integration and delivery of complex training systems for the Army Collective Training Service. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, translate operational needs into architectures, and work across suppliers to ensure interoperable solutions.

You will operate within a matrix environment, reporting to the Systems Solutions Lead, and contribute to the continued development of training environments that align with agile

Formación

• Experience in multi-disciplinary teams within a system engineering environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 15288 Systems Engineering Process.
• Experience writing system requirements and design documentation.
• Knowledge of V-model lifecycles and processes.
• Writing interface control documents (ICDs).
• Experience with engineering standards and system architectures.
• Proficiency with Jira/Confluence tooling.
• Engineering degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience leading a team in a complex environment.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical system architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Define work packages and technical requirements across complex services and capabilities.
• Lead definition of requirements and producing designs.
• Log, delegate and quality assure operational procedures.
• Act as technical liaison between engineering and supply chain partners.
• Maintain records and lead audits.
• Contribute to execution and delivery of key work packages.
• Lead systems engineering activities including product development and qualification.
• Assist in reviewing and delivering advanced training environments.
• Contribute to maintenance, installation and problem resolution.
• Support system operation improvements.
• Deputise for Systems Solutions Lead as needed.
• Mentor junior engineers.
