OMNIA Training is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to drive design, integration, and delivery of complex training systems for the Army Collective Training Service. You will lead cross-functional teams, translate operational needs into practical architectures, and ensure technical interoperability across a range of simulation technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience in system engineering processes and ISO 15288.
• Ability to write system requirements and design docs.
• Experience with V-model lifecycles and interface control documents (ICDs).
• Strong knowledge of cloud hosting (AWS/Azure).
• Experience leading teams in complex environments.

Responsabilités

• Define work packages and technical requirements across multiple services to meet specs.
• Lead requirements definition and produce designs.
• Log, delegate, and quality assure activities.
• Act as technical liaison between engineering teams and suppliers.
• Maintain records, lead audits, and contribute to delivery of work packages.
• Guide Systems Engineering activities including product development and qualification.
• Support review and delivery of advanced training environments and concepts.
• Contribute to system operation and troubleshooting.
• Mentor junior engineers and deputise for the Systems Solutions Lead.
