Job summary

OMNIA Training in the UK is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to deliver complex Army training systems. You’ll work in a matrix environment reporting to the Systems Solutions Lead and collaborate across engineering and supply chains.

The role requires strong systems engineering with ISO 15288 experience, writing requirements and design documents, and mentoring junior engineers while upholding EHS standards.

Qualifications

• Experience Writing System Requirements and Design Documentation.
• Knowledge of ISO 15288 and System Engineering processes.
• Experience leading a team within a complex environment.
• Experience in testing, validation and troubleshooting during deployment.
• Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).

Responsibilities

• Define work packages and technical requirements across multiple services to meet specs.
• Lead definition of requirements and producing designs.
• Act as technical liaison between engineering teams and supply chain partners.
• Maintain records and lead audits.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to system delivery.
