Job summary

OMNIA Training in the United Kingdom is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer in Warminster to lead multidisciplinary systems engineering activities for the Army’s collective training programmes. You will define requirements, designs, and interfaces, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-moving, hybrid-work environment.

You will work under the Systems Solutions Lead, collaborating with suppliers and partners, ensuring adherence to lifecycle processes while delivering integrated training systems

Qualifications

• Experience in multidisciplinary system engineering environments.
• Experience writing system requirements and design documentation.
• Knowledge of System Engineering V-model lifecycles and processes.
• Experience drafting interface control documents (ICDs).
• Familiarity with technical standards and best practices.
• Experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define work packages and technical requirements across multiple services to meet specifications.
• Lead definition of requirements and producing designs.
• Log, delegate and quality assure operational procedures.
• Act as technical liaison between engineering teams and supply chain partners.
• Maintain records and lead audits; contribute to key work packages.
• Lead activities related to systems engineering, product development and qualification.
• Assist review and delivery of advanced training environments and concepts.
