Job summary

Leonardo UK seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to join our Bristol/Luton teams, working on defence systems in a predominantly office and lab environment with hybrid working options.

You’ll lead integration and test plans, manage documentation, collaborate with multi-functional teams, and mentor engineers. Applicants must have five years UK residency and a UK passport, with BPSS/NSV considerations for SC/DV clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience with systems engineering lifecycle and requirements engineering.
• Knowledge of IBM DOORS and integration/test activities.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and support V&V activities.
• Experience or willingness to gain electronic warfare domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Development of integration and test plans.
• Control of parts and documentation including change management.
• Collaboration with multi-functional teams on system and sub-system development.
• Lead technical activities and mentor engineers.
• Prepare reports, presentations and proposals for customers.
