Job summary

SAS in the United Kingdom is seeking a Principal Systems Architect to guide customers through migrating to the latest SAS versions, driving maximum business value and software adoption.

You will build trusted relationships, work with Engineering and Product teams, and design architectures and adoption roadmaps that align with customer needs, while upholding security policies and delivering measurable outcomes across SAS platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years across multiple software technologies and domains.
• Experience with SAS 9 and SAS Viya.
• Cloud native infrastructure across providers.
• Advanced Kubernetes optimization.
• Ability to travel and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with customers and enable SAS software adoption.
• Support team members by sharing technical expertise.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Publications, Support, Consulting to optimize customer experience.
• Provide feedback to Engineering and Product Management.
• Define and execute proof points based on customer scenarios.
• Create architectures and adoption roadmaps; map to engineering efforts.
• Ensure security policies are followed.
• Work with customers at various levels from admin to executive.
