Job summary

Crest Nicholson's Eastern division are looking for a Senior Surveyor to join the Brentwood Office, covering developments across the region. You’ll take ownership of the commercial management of your developments, from procurement through to final account, including cost planning, subcontractor payments, valuations, forecasting and contractual matters.

We want commercially minded, numbers-driven professionals with strong problem solving skills who can manage multiple projects at different stages,

Qualifications

• Extensive housebuilding/residential main contractor experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of value engineering, cost control, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience in procurement, cost planning, subcontractor payments, valuations, forecasting and contractual matters.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the commercial management of developments from pre-construction through to final account.
• Procurement and cost planning to subcontractor payments, valuations, forecasting and contractual matters.
• Protect margins, manage risk and drive performance across projects.
• Collaborate with operational teams, subcontractors and wider business to deliver efficient, sustainable development outcomes.

Crest Nicholson's well established Eastern division are looking for a Senior Surveyor to join the team working from our Brentwood Office, where you will be covering developments across the region.

You’ll take ownership of the commercial management of your developments, working across complex, large-scale projects from pre-construction through to final account. From procurement and cost planning to subcontractor payments, valuations, forecasting and contractual matters, you’ll play a pivotal role in protecting margins, managing risk and driving performance.

Working closely with our operational teams, subcontractors and wider business, you’ll use your commercial expertise to make informed decisions, challenge where necessary and ensure every development is delivered efficiently, sustainably and to the highest possible standard.

We're looking for a Senior Surveyor with Extensive Housebuilding/Residential Main Contractor experience looking for career progression. You must have an excellent ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously at different stages of value engineering, cost control, budgeting and forecasting and have COIN's experience.

You’ll be a numbers driven person, commercially aware and with strong problem solving skills. You will lead by example and focus on building a strong team ethic and working relationships both with your team, the regional teams and external partners.

Your qualifications and memberships will be aligned to Senior Surveyor level within the industry.
