Job summary

Leonardo UK in Southampton seeks a Systems Engineer to design and develop security-related functionality for next-generation airborne communications systems. You will collaborate with project teams, security function, international partners and customers to tackle real engineering challenges.

Qualifications

Experience in developing military and/or civil communication systems.
Experience with security protocols such as authentication and encryption.
Ability to produce detailed technical reports.
Graduate degree in engineering, mathematics, or related scientific discipline.

Responsibilities

Management of system requirements.
Feasibility studies to determine system architecture.
Modelling of security functionality.
Producing clear and concise technical documentation for your work.
Support to the Project Engineering Lead to plan and develop work packages and reporting.
Display good team working behaviours and manage own workload with the team.
