Job summary

Voyage Care in Deal is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead our residential service and support a fantastic group of people. This role emphasizes ensuring independence, supervising staff, and maintaining a compassionate, person-centered approach to daily care.

You will work across varied shifts including weekdays, weekends, and sleep-ins. DBS checks and references are required, with opportunities for development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker.
• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
• Experience with individuals requiring enhanced support (distress, mental health, ABI, autism, forensic histories, trauma).

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager with day-to-day supervision and service management.
• Allocate shifts and book training for colleagues.
• Induct new staff and support supervision.
• Order medication and oversee finances for people we support.
