Job summary

Aspris is seeking a positive, enthusiastic Senior Support Worker to join our Ribble Children’s Home in Preston. You will be part of a caring team, safeguarding and promoting welfare while delivering high quality childcare in line with our therapeutic approach.

The role offers induction, specialist training, career progression, free meals during shifts, DBS, pension, cycle to work, and wellbeing support, with shift work including weekends and sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months or more experience in a residential setting.
• Achieved Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma (Residential Childcare) or equivalent.
• Able to interact with a range of people/young people.
• Confident to lead a team of Support Workers.
• Shift work including weekends, evenings, and sleep-in duties on a rota system.
• Full driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Actively safeguard and promote the welfare of our children and young people living in the home.
• Support across the home with the Registered Manager to provide the best possible care.
• As a Senior Support Worker, deliver high quality childcare within Aspris Care’s philosophy and Person-Centred Values.
