Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a committed Senior Support Worker for a residential children's care home in the Nottingham area. You will lead a small team, organise the daily routine, and ensure the home runs smoothly and safely.

The role requires NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care, plus experience in similar settings. You will apply positive support strategies, maintain care plans, write logs, and coordinate with social workers and families to help young people thrive.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care is required.
• Experience in similar roles and settings is preferred.
• Willingness to work across days and nights in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-duty team and coordinate daily routines to run the home safely.
• Utilise positive support and de-escalation techniques for challenging behaviours.
• Implement care plans tailored to complex needs and write accurate daily logs.
