The ideal candidate holds an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care with relevant experience in complex care environments. A permanent full-time role offers day and night shifts with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a small team on duty.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience delivering person-centred care and support plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead the small team on duty, organize the daily routine, and ensure the home runs smoothly and safely.
• Use positive support and calm de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviours.
• Put the young person’s daily care and support plans into action, addressing complex needs.
• Write accurate daily logs, incident reports, and safely manage and administer medication.
• Coordinate with social workers, therapists, and the family on a regular basis.
• Plan engaging activities to promote learning, independence and thriving.
