Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a committed Support Worker for a residential children's care home in the Nottingham area. You will provide person-centred care and build trusting relationships with residents, supporting daily living and personal needs.

The role requires patience and excellent communication, with opportunities for ongoing training, overtime, and clear career progression. Salary ranges and benefits reflect a supportive and stable environment.

Formación

• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable and preferred.
• Experience in complex care or similar environments is advantageous.
• A caring, compassionate and patient approach is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to build professional and trusting relationships with individuals and families.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 3:1 or 4:1 person-centred support within the home.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, medication and daily living needs while maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, encouraging independence and individual choice.
• Support with behaviours following care plans and positive behaviour strategies.
• Monitor wellbeing, maintain accurate care records and follow safeguarding procedures.
