Job summary

Voyage Care in Keighley is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead our residential service, ensuring a high quality of life for the people we support.

You will work with the management team to supervise day-to-day operations, allocate shifts and induct new colleagues, and help people gain independence, including assisting with finances and medication.

Previous senior experience and autism/behaviour support are essential, and all offers are subject to DBS checks and references.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism.
• Experience managing shifts and supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the residential service in Keighley.
• Assist the Manager with day-to-day supervision and management.
• Allocate shifts, train new staff, supervise colleagues.
• Support people to gain independence and manage finances.
• Ensure appropriate medication handling where required.
• Ensure DBS checks and references are obtained.
