Job summary

Orbis Education & Care is seeking a Senior Support Worker to join Cartref Mynydd in Swansea, supporting adults with autism and complex needs to live safe, fulfilling lives. You will help lead the home with the Home Manager, creating a warm, inclusive and empowering environment where people feel valued and supported.

• Experience in a positive support environment.
• Experience in managing challenging behaviour.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and statutory regulations.
• Ability to lead by example and uphold policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team on shift and support the Home Manager.
• Maintain service scoring standards and reporting.
• Gather evidence and participate in assessments and care plan reviews.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality.
• Promote achievements and positive outcomes for residents.
