Job summary

Keys Group in Cardiff is seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to provide day-to-day support for adults with mental health needs, autism, learning disabilities and acquired brain injuries.

You will lead a team of Support Workers, uphold high standards of care and care plans, promote meaningful activities, report accurately, liaise with health professionals and families, and help maintain a warm, homely environment in the home.

Qualifications

• NVQ / QCF L3 in Health & Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of Support Workers
• Providing high standards of care and support for people we support, in line with care and support plans
• Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
• Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
• Liaise with health professionals and their families
• Complete supervisions and audits
• To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
