You will lead shifts, coordinate handovers, and support residents in living independent lives. The position requires recent care experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to safeguarding and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker or similar in a care setting.
• Ability to supervise, coach and motivate others on shifts.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with staff and service users.
• Commitment to promoting choice, dignity and independence for those supported.
• Knowledge of care standards, safeguarding and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support delivery of person-centred care.
• Provide leadership during shifts including handovers and role allocation.
• Ensure residents have person-centred plans and meaningful activities.
• Deliver team supervisions and contribute to staff development.
• Administer medication safely and per procedures.
• Manage service users’ finances and assist budget compliance.
• Maintain accurate records, reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor team performance and address operational issues.
• Maintain up-to-date training to ensure safe practice.
