Job summary
Milewood Healthcare Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker for Cleveland Villa in Stockton-on-Tees. You will lead a small team, provide person-centred care, and ensure the safety and wellbeing of the gentleman living there.
This role requires warmth, reliability and strong communication to foster a calm, supportive home environment. The position offers full-time hours, a welcoming bonus after probation and the chance to make a meaningful difference in daily living and community
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior support role or similar lead position.
- Qualificatons in care (NVQ/QCF) are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead on shift, supporting the gentleman who lives at Cleveland Villa.
- Supervise and guide Support Workers.
- Balance hands-on, person-centred care with clear leadership and communication.
- Administer medications safely and keep accurate records.
- Complete daily reports and ensure effective handovers between shifts.
- Support and supervise Support Workers, including observations.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
- Provide sleep-in cover or night shifts as required.
